TxDOT taking feedback for long-range plans
Want to put your fingerprints on a blueprint for transportation to meet the state's needs for the next quarter century?
The Texas Department of Transportation will collect feedback regarding its Statewide Long-Range Transportation Plan 2035 during an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 5 at the TxDOT Amarillo District Human Resources Conference Center, 5715 Canyon Drive.

Cindy Whitney Silent Bike Processional

Cindy Whitneys Celebration of Life Service will be
Thursday July 22, 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephens 4600 S. Western

There will be a Silent Bike Processional leaving promtly at 1:15 from the Amarillo Town Club South parking lot - 4514 Cornell. Black arm bands encouraged, Helmets required. St. Stephens church will have a room available for you to leave your bikes during the service.

Club Meeting July 20th

The meeting will be at Coffee Memorial Blood Bank at 6:45 July 20th to talk about helping with a bike ride they are tring to host along with the Police Department.

They will feed us and after this topic we can have our club meeting. I need to have a head count by Friday the 16th,so if are coming RSVP to me at 359-5957 by Friday if you plan to eat!

No Drop Mountain Bike Ride

Starting Saturday July 10th there will be a No Drop Mountain Bike ride at the Canyon.

Anyone interested needs to meet at the China Berry Parking lot at 8:30 am or if you would like to Car Pool meet at Sun Adventure Sprots at 7:15 am and we will leave from there.

The ride will last 2 to 2 and a half hours,make sure you bring your Helment,waterand things to repair a flat tube ,air etc. We will be back to Sun Adventure by around 12:00 if you Car Pool.

Those helping will help with Trail repairs as well as working on helping you to understand Mountain Biking if you have any questions contact Matt Melvin at 351-2453.

Most of all come and have some FUN!!!!

Cookout, Poker Run and MS150 signup - June 30th

It's summer time and the riding is easy. Old Tascosa Cycling and the MS Society will have a poker run and cookout at Gander Mountain on Wednesday, June 30th starting at 6:30pm. You don't have to be a club member or even know how to play poker to win. FREE food, FREE prizes, and riding your bike with friends on a warm summer evening - it doesn't get much better that. Stay tuned for more details in a couple of days.

MS 150 is not cancelled

Someone has started a rumor that the MS 150 is cancelled this is so not true,for whatever reason please ignore this and spread the word it is still on.

If you know who started this rumor for whatever reason and they have any questions have them contact April Brownlee at the MS Office,she will be glad to answer any questions or concerns they may have.
