Once I get off crutches I will resume efforts to establish some townie rides which I want to brand as SHARE THE ROAD rides using the bike routes as much as possible.
What do you think about renaming the Monday night no drop ride to the SHARE THE ROAD No Drop Ride?

I have no problem with that! I think TBC (can't remember the new name off hand) may have some bumper stickers we can use, unless we want to develop a more Amarollo-specific campaign....

I watched the coverage on the local news and I would really like to get at least a couple of bumper stickers and t-shirts for the entire family.
Can I buy them? Ken, I bet you could easily sell 100 t-shirts.

Thanks for the compliments. Scott Jesko worked triple time in less than a week to come up a logo, Facebook page (SHARE THE ROAD AMARILLO) with over 500 fans in about two days, a media packet, an opening presentation, a mission statement plus our vision, secured our website (www.shareroad.org) and pulled some rabbits out of the hat to get us about a dozen t-shirts. And, did a mighty fine job in his first press conference, don't you think?
We will soon have t-shirts and very cool bumper stickers for sale in a store near you.
In the meantime, Scott is fishing (for real) far, far away. He'll be back on Monday so we can finalize our Board of Directors, develop committee goals and work on our bylaws next week.
Oh yeah, we opened a bank account and have started the non-profit status.
It's all very wonderful.
